March 2017 Hail Damage
Spring has sprung in the Upstate! Mid-march thunderstorms brought the eastern-most cities in Greenville County enough hail to look like snow covering the ground. Greer and Taylors reported baseball sized hail, while Traveler’s Rest reported golf ball sized hail brought on by the storms. This caused over a half dozen flights at the GSP airport to be delayed, thousands of Upstate residents to be without power, and over 4 inches of rain in the area. While this all sounds bad, the worst part is the sheer volume of damage the storm left behind. Car windshields busted out and extensive paint and body damage to vehicles. Imagine what hail large enough to shatter a windshield could do to your roof! We at Roof Roof have a team of highly trained and qualified technicians on standby to inspect your home or business’s roof for any signs of this damage, including granule loss in gutters, damaged landscaping, and damage to painted areas such as window sills and decking.
