Hail Damaged Roof Replacement in Taylors, SC

This homeowner believed they had hail damage from the March 2017 hail storm. She called her insurance company who recommended Roof Roof to come inspect for damages and take pictures. We came out and performed a thorough evaluation and documented all damages. We then sent a report with photo's to the insurance company. After reviewing the report, the insurance company approved the roof and gutters for full replacement. We began the project 4 weeks later. First, we removed the existing shingles. We then installed Owens Corning Ice and water shield in all of the valleys and around the roof penetrations. We then installed Owens Corning ProArmor synthetic underlayment. The homeowner selected Owens Corning Duration Onyx Black shingles. We finished it off with a new ridge vent to alleviate heat and moisture build up inside the attic. Once the roof was complete, we installed new 5" aluminum seamless gutters and installed Evelyn's Leaf Solution gutter guards on the back gutter. The project took 2 workings days to complete.
