This homeowner had storm damage to their roof and their insurance company approved it for a full replacement. They decided to use our company and we started the project within 4 weeks. We removed the existing shingles, installed new felt paper and ice and water shield. We then installed Owens Corning Oakridge Onyx Black shingles. To finish the project, we installed Owens Corning high point ridge vent. The project took 1 day to complete. 

This customer called Roof Roof to determine if they had hail damage. We came out that same day to evaluate the roof. After a thorough inspection, we determined that there was sufficient damage to file a claim. A week later the insurance adjuster came out. We met him there and showed all of the damages. He agreed with our assessment and approved the roof. We started on the project 2 weeks later. We began by removing the existing roof down to the wood deck. We then installed ice and water shield in all of the valleys and synthetic felt across the field of the roof. We used two layers of felt paper on the back slope becuase of the low pitch. We then installed Owens Corning oakridge shingles, new ridge vent, and cap shingles. The project took 2 days to complete. 

We began by removing the existing single layer of roofing materials. The decking was then covered with synthetic underlayment to reduce water infiltration and improve installation accuracy and consistency. All five PVC plumbing boots were replaced and UV guards installed. Finally, the roof was reshingled with Owens Corning Oakridge Duration in Onyx Black. 

The damage sustained during a storm last year had this Upstate homeowner calling Roof Roof for an estimate on a new roof. The insurance claim was approved, all the details ironed out, and the work begun. The final result is a brand new roof in  Owens Corning Oakridge architectural shingles in Onyx Black. The homeowner was extremely happy with the process and final result.
